6:32 am - The meme giveth, and the meme taketh away

In the year 2006 I resolve to:

Start Smoking.

Get your resolution here

Well, that plan's fucked. 3 weeks without a cigarette, ruined.

...Oh yeah, I quit smoking. Not anymore, though... apparently.

6:22 pm - Worst Timing Ever...
I've been diagnosed with epigastrisitis (sp?). Basically, my stomach acids have eaten away at my stomach lining causing my stomach to inflame, making it ungodly painful to swallow food and water. The culprit: alcohol. I've been told to stay off the hooch for about a month, and take meds to reduce the amount of acids in my stomach. I also have to eat more regularly, and less greasy/fatty foods. Apparently, I should quit smoking too, because smoking has a vasci-constricting effect on the digestive system, making people who smoke feel less hungry after a cigarette, which will fuck with my eating habits.

So... the next month is going to be spent fasting. Woot.

I can so see this new 'plan' going out the window in less than a week. However, if my condition worsens, there is a chance that it's because I've developed a stomach ulcer.

Thanks Santa! How did you know that I wanted an illness for Christmas? The special sort that makes me have NO FUN!

Cunt.

2:17 pm - Tattooed
I went and got my tattoo done... finally... on Tuesday. I haven't taken any photos of it, mainly because I'm slack, and don't have a digital camera. They're on their way, though. Never fear.

1:43 pm - Wil is a dude!
I just thought I'd get in before Wil makes a post about last night.

From now, until forever, Wil is going to go down in my books as THE BIGGEST DUDE EVER!!! I'm not sure just /how/ big he is, you know... I didn't peek. But he is seriously awesome. I'm telling everyone. Take this as gospel truth here, kids... The proverbial sense, not the 'Oh, but Kal, the Gospel has been disproved so very many times in blah blah blah "we're being pedantic fuckwads" sort of way.

Lifeuncommon = Dude.

Its a fact. Scientifically proven.

Oh, and as a side note, I've also discovered some new and very interesting equations... Such as:

Textbooks at uni = Getting 1s
Being drunk and disorderly = Desireable for employment

No kidding, I got a job last night because I was drunk.

Later days.

11:12 pm - Holidays are God's private joke... I still don't get it.
I don't even remember where things left off. I have one of these things just so I can put it on my CV. I swear, thats how I got my job at Dominos.

"So Kal, tell us about yourself."
"Well, I have a blog on livejournal, in which I reveal all my inner-most thoughts, emotions and ponderings to an audience of people who I've never met, and have no association with."
"Wait... you have an lj account? I'm DomManager_73! You're hired."

... I may or may not have elaborated on that story, perhaps to the point where it was entirely made up, and the conversation didn't actually happen.

Xmas FollyCollapse )
Daytripping at the gates of hellCollapse )
So, Christmas ended with me going to my Aunt's place for dinner, then going home and watching a movie with Steph. By the way, she loved her present. I might post a picture of it, when I get a digital camera, and a will to be motivated to care enough to bother.

So, then came New Years. Well, everyone can find out all aobut that in Brad_corp's latest sponsorship challege.

I'm off to Melbourne in a few days. Leave on the 10th, get back on the 20th. Got Luke's 18th on the 8th. Right now, I have tabs to Beer by Reel Big Fish and the determination to learn it. Later haters.

Until next time, this has been a Love-Media station.

Here's to laughing at inappropriate moments, trust me, its worth an entire entry.

10:13 pm - Protecting the Innocent
Well, since I won brad_corp's sponsorship challenge last, whenever, I decided to make an actual post instead of these survey/questionaire things. Ahh, the world of me, will it never end? The answer, obviously, is no.

So, its been a long time since I said anything worthy... on the internet. Believe me, I'm just full of inspiring things to say. So, lets start at the beginning. The beginning starting from when everyone left for schoolies, and left me behind.

Schoolies happened.
*Highlights*
1) René's hair getting dyed green. Then getting cut off.
2) René playing it Metal Gear to stay in any apartment.
3) Dave getting on to Room 208
4) Dave's amazing ability at scoring (and not just the lady folk)
5) Mat sexing a sink
6) Brett... pissed as a similie at 9am saturday morning
7) Sex on the beach... 18/46... think about it

Then Jimmy, Brad and Shan got back from Anti-Schoolies. Once I got some time off Dominos, I was out there with pizza and beer. That happened over 2 nights, because no one wanted to hit the piss the first night, and there's nothing worse than drinking on your onesys. It was good, really. A little bit of music, a little bit of joking, a little bit of cable, a little bit of sex... none of which happened to me. I basically just got tired and went to bed.

Hmm... what happened next? Well, we could backtrack a bit, before everyone went to schoolies... I got drunk for the first time since Easter. The sunday after everyone left? We (we = me, luke and adam) hit a bottle of Captain Morgan and stayed up all night talking shit and watching Invader Zim. Which inspired me to do it more often, I'd forgotten how fun it is. The next day, I discovered that I appear to be at least 9 months older than I am. This has lead to some interesting opportunities for me... Ok, so it means that now I'm doing piss runs for everyone while I'm DDing.

Ok, now jumping ahead a couple of... what, days? This past weekend, I spent with my family on a Houseboat up at Tin Can Bay. I managed to read all of Lemony Snicket's 'Series of Unfortunate Events'. It was good, very well written children's book. I then started on Alice in Wonderland and Alice Through The Looking Glass by Lewis Carrol. Curiouser and curiouser. I came to the conclusion that children's books are the best sort of book. Also, my up-til-now Nazi like Father can be quite surprising. Sitting on the top deck of the houseboat on Friday night, he came up and gave me a beer. I think he see's me as an adult now, which is moderately cool.

Home now, after seeing Team America tonight with Adam. That movie had me laughing for the longest time in quite a while.

Time to sign off. Stay Classy.

2:59 pm - Survey-val of the fittest
1. What's on your bedside table?
Clock radio, some photos, a box thing full of crap that I don't need. Deodorant.

2. What's the geekiest part of your music collection?
I have Weezer's Green album, or maybe CocoRosie.

3. What do you eat/drink when you raid your fridge at night?
Cereal. I use my lucky spoon.

4. What is your secret guaranteed weeping film?
You can't cry if you don't have tear ducts, as all real men don't. Also, movies about retards are meant to be funny, not sad, even with the all beatles soundtrack. I mean, c'mon. They're retards.

5. If you could have plastic surgery, what would you have done?
I don't have any plastic to surgerise.

6. Do you have a completely irrational fear?
Nope. All my fears are well founded in superstition.

7. What is the little physical habit that gives away your insecure moments?
I stick my tongue out the corner of my mouth when I'm concentrating. Does that count?

8. Do you ever have to beg?
Have to, no. Do I, yes. It's cheaper that way.

9. Do you have too many love interests?
I'm interested in loving a number of people... this really does depend on definition of 'loving'. If by love, you mean videotape them being sexually assaulted by monkeys, then yes.

10. Do you know anyone famous?
I met the guy that plays Al in Neighbours, and Chris Handey at a funeral.

11. Describe your bed.
King size single, sheet, purple blanket and 2 pillows.

12. Spontaneous or plan?
Neither. I'm too lazy to do either. Just wing it, not necessarily spontaneously.

13. Who should play you in a movie about your life?
Dylan Moran... just so I can say 'fuck yeah, see that! Thats Bernard Black, baby...'

14. Do you know how to play poker?
Yes. Well? No.

15. What do you carry with you at all times?
...I sorta thought it was carry-on baggage... You know, it doesn't really come off... Oh RIGHT!!! Uh... wallet, keys.

16. How do you drive?
They give lessons on this stuff, don't be such a cheapskate. Go take them.

17. What do you miss most about being little?
Being able to walk around mostly naked everywhere... Oh wait...

18. Are you happy with your given name?
Yeah. Mind you, changing it to something scandanavian would be really cool. I just want to be able to introduce myself as 'Olaf' or 'Bjorn'.

19. What color is your bedroom?
Gold/purple

20. What was the last song to which you were listening?
Death Cab For Cutie - Sleep Spent

21. Have you ever been in a school play?
Yah huh

22. Have you ever been in love?
Yes

23. Do you like yourself and believe in yourself?
It's less a sense of self, more a sense of 'who the fuck cares what you think about me?'

24. Have you ever done any illegal drugs?
What would that sentence mean to you? "I haven't seen Evil Dead 2, yet..."

25. Do you think you're cute?
Are we going to differentiate between 'thinking' and 'being'?

26. Do you consider yourself a nice person?
Not unkind. I'm generally the same to everyone, and no one has complained yet.

current mood: Irate - Work.

Purple Saber
You have a Purple Lightsaber.

Purple is associated with being an ultimate badass. You are so hardk0rz0r. If I had a womb, I know I'd have your babies, and name them after various artists, and then train them to be super ninjas, to kill those turtle hacks. Also, you are the awesomest person ever... Lets have sex. I bet you get a lot of that from the hot, attractive ladies... Must have something to do with your lightsabre.

7:45 pm - If the roadwarrior says it, it Must be true...
Surprisingly enough, my Subject line has about *this* much to do with what I'm about to say. Unlike me, isn't it?

I just noticed that Jackass was bandying this around his blog, so I decided to steal it. With a few modifications... When I saw 'a few' I mean, basically the entire thing.

Touch Me Here!Collapse )

Finished almost with the Exam scene. Got Sos, Jap and Ipt left.

Decided, in my folly, to give Rene a lift home. I did get a coke out of it, however. Also, I got to play San Andreas, and I got my nintendo back. Nintendo rocks. Feeling bloody tired, thinking of hitting the sack.

Oh, almost forgot... Sounds like I'm out of Anti-Schoolies... Gonna work on Dad over the next couple of days.

Until I post again, sleep well... Dream of large women.

11:28 am - Pussy Wagon... Fucker

Captain Star Log, 23.9, rounded off to the nearest decimal point...

Well, Dominos treats me well. Far too well, I daresay. I really wouldn't let anyone like me... Especially Me, have $300.

I get paid on Wednesday, that money was gone by yesterday at 4pm.

Among the useless, and quite possibly stupid and costly things that I bought included:

 • Black Books, Series 3
 • Sleepy Hollow, from HMV
 • Fuel
 • A Frappacino from Starbucks
 • The Shins - Chutes Too Narrow
 • .... This!
 • A skirt for Steph
 • Fuel
 • Snax

I'll do the rest later... Period ended.

9:28 pm - If I were you, and don't get me wrong, I'm glad I'm not... I would advertise here.
So, here's the story.

My parents are cunts, they are going to Perth during the week so now my brother is bringing his girlfriend over to live with us for a week to 'look after' us.

This means 2 things.
1) No pissup at mine while family is in Perth.
2) I get to spend a week with my brother's girlfriend, who I really don't like.

Bastard parents, not trusting me to not have a party while they were gone... Anyone who points out the flaw in logic there is a communist.

On the bright side, I will have $300 or so on Thursday.

8:56 pm - Updates, yeah. I know. Quiet you.
Well well well... Its been a while, hasn't it. Well, I got lazy, and then I lost my computer and such. So, lets start at where we left off.

Holidays, Week 2.
Steph came back. That was awesomely awesome. Then we did stuff for the rest of the holidays, basically because I told her to blow off work every time that she was rostered. God, I am so cool.
I can't remember that much of the holidays, so I'm going to skip whatever happened after that. I don't think it was terribley interesting.

School stuff.
Back to school. Its lamz0r (proper spelling, right there. Shut it), but I'm doing less work now than I was on the holidays. That is well cool.
My subjects consist of:
Pacman 101 - aka Ipt
The Chaser Decides Appreciation - aka Sos
Michael Moore Analysis - aka Legal
Sleepy nap time - aka English
Kooky fun with that René kid - aka Maths B. Also part and parcel of Pacman 101

Hahaha, yeah. So basically, unless I get tested on Pacman and tv, I can see me failing this term. Meh, I really just don't give a shit anymore. Well, more so than I didn't give a shit for the rest of the year... Did that sentence make sense? Bugger it, I'm not changing it now.

In conclusion...

3:58 pm - Today's post sponsored by the letter K
Been a while since the ol' updates. What has happened since? Exams... Yes well, lets not talk about them. Holidays, now these are the days to enjoy. Except, they've been devoid of anything fun since, well, ever. Quick rundown of the past 4 days.

Thursday - Went to the city with Steph, took her home, started missing her. She left for New Zealand.
Friday - Shan, René and Wayne came over. We played nintendo and listened to music. Then we went to the movies and saw Around The World In 80 Days. It sucked, I don't recommend it. Missed Steph.
Saturday - Wayne's party. Went as Aladin. That was well rad. Kiddie games (the highlight of my existance so far, I dare say), alcohol (no thanks, I'm driving... Well, maybe one. But that means I'm crashing here) and melodrama. That last bit sucked something terrible. Suffice to say Days Of Our Lives has nothing on my current social life. So many people having to deal with this soapie crap. Found out that I can't contact Steph at all. That sucked majorly. No Itlap for us.
Sunay - Woke up bright and early, dropped Nikki and Claire off at the trainstation, and then got talked into taking the boys + Sarah home. I was ok with it though, I got free fuel. Went home, watched Platoon and crashed.

Interesting sidenote, Platoon has Jonny Depp! And Willem Dafoe, and Charlie Sheen, but you know. Jonny Depp. Even if only for a few scenes.

Today has been boring. I went to bed at 9 o'clock last night (msn talking was slow, internet was dropping out, and I was missing Steph. Again). Woke up at 9 this morning, and spent the day cleaning up my room, not fun. Oh, and played Nintendo with Magnus. You know, the usual.

Highlights of the weekend: I have my Nicole Kidman poster hung up, and my car is now covered with yellow, blue and red finger puppet monsters.

Miss you Steph, in case that wasn't clear for everyone else. Hurry up and get back.
